Additional Services Our Practice Provides:

  • Peer Supervision: This collaborative process allows colleagues at a similar professional level to offer mutual support, feedback, and guidance. Unlike traditional, hierarchical supervision, peer supervision fosters community, reduces isolation, and encourages critical self-reflection. Available individually or in groups.

  • Clinical Supervision: A structured professional relationship where a more experienced social worker (supervisor) guides a less experienced one (supervisee) in their clinical practice. This service focuses on developing clinical skills, ensuring ethical practice, and promoting professional growth. In North Carolina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) can supervise those pursuing LCSW licensure (LCSWA) if they meet specific criteria: an MSW from a CSWE-accredited school, at least two years of post-LCSW clinical experience, and good standing with the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board. Both Owners/Clinicians have completed Clinical Supervision Training and Certification with the NASW-NC. Available individually or in groups.

  • Consultation: In mental health private practice, consultation is a collaborative process where therapists seek guidance from colleagues or experts on various professional matters. This can include clinical issues, business development, or personal well-being related to their practice, serving as a valuable tool for professional growth, ethical practice, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Available individually or in groups.

  • Internships: A social work internship offers students supervised, real-world experience, allowing them to apply classroom learning in practical settings. These placements are vital to social work education, fostering skill development, ethical understanding, and exposure to diverse social work areas. Internships can be completed individually or in groups.
